Will Cottrell of Vinton Dies; Rites Thursday
Following an illness of eight weeks with heart disease, William Cottrell, 65, died Wednesday at 2:30 a.m. at his Vinton home. He was born here and had spent all his life in this communtity. Funeral rites will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in the Hite & Alcorn funeral parlors. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The Rev. W.W. Williams will conduct the services.
Mr. Cottrell was born July 18, 1869, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Cottrell. Three brothers living are Cal Cottrell of Muscatine, Jerry and Frank Cottrell of Vinton. Friends may call at the funeral parlors Wednesday evening between seven and nine o'clock.
