Kathleen V. Gladkowski, age 96, at rest on Wednesday July 11, 2007. Kathleen was born in Hibbing, Minnesota and was a life long resident of Rockdale, Illinois.
She was the loving mother of Theodore R. (Patricia L.) Gladkowski; dearest grandmother of Michele L. (Patrick) Feeney, Cindy (Gary) Murley and Ted (Jody) Gladkowski of Channahon and Michael (Jackie) and Timothy Gladkowski of Orlando, Florida; and loving great grandmother of eight. Kathleen is also survived by two sisters Ann (late Anton) Gregorash and Betty (late Harry) Kranz; twin brothers Edward (Eleanore) and John (late Mary) Thomas; and special friends Charlotte (Larry) Beamont; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Pauline (nee Bozich) Thomas (Tomac); her husband, Theodore Gladkowski; one son, Dennis Gladkowski; one grandson, Richard Gladkowski; brothers, Anthony (Matilda), Cosmia, Clarence, Stephan (Mame) and Raymond (Vickie) Thomas; sisters, Agnes, Margaret (Louis) Von Behren, Frances (Anthony) Morello and Marian (Rudolph) Crnkoviak.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 9:30 am to St. Joseph Church Rockdale for a mass of Christian burial at 10 am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
