She was a daughter of the late John and Mary Eline, of McSherrytown, and was married on April 9, 1872.
She leaves besides her husband, who for many years conducted a saddler shop in McSherrytown; three sons and a daughter: Rev. Martin Steffy, rector of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lancaster : Sister Eleanora of South Bethelhem : F.X. Steffy, of Providence, Rhode Island, and Joseph Steffy, of Hyde Park, Mass.
Mrs. Steffy was the last surviving member of her family.
Funeral on Wednesday from St. Mary's Church, McSherrytown, with a requiem high mass by Rev. L. Aug. Reudter, L.L.D. and interment in the Catholic Cemetery, Littlestown.
