Gary M. Endries, 64, 506 Winnebago Drive, Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1988 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.

Endries was born Nov. 24, 1923 at St. Nazianz. His parents were Gerhard and Lena (Knier) Endries.
He was married to Rita Krebsbach at Stockbridge on Feb. 16, 1946.

He was a veteran of World War II and served with the U. S. Navy, was a member of VFW Fond du Lac Post 1904 and the American Legion Post at St. Nazianz, the Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Karen) Murray and Mrs. Thomas (Patricia) Gauthier, both of Fond du Lac; one son, Daniel of Lake Elmo, MN; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Delphine Endreas of Milwaukee and Mrs. Veronica Gruber of Stockbridge; and two brothers, Isadore of St. Nazianz and Bernard of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services were held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Entombment was in the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum.
