Known as Leslie. He was born on 8 Jul 1883 and baptized 13 Sep 1885 in the Church of the Holy Redemption. He married Minnie Edith (Taylor) Riker 27 Apr 1912 in Delaware. There is some confusion as to when they divorced as it appeared in the paper in 1924. However, he married Madeline Williams born 15 Oct 1898 in Saginaw, Michigan on 9 Aug 1920 stating he was a widower. He and his family next appear on the 1930 census in Philadelphia, living with his parents. He’s working as a circulation salesman for the newspaper. Extremely confusing is the 1940 census when he’s enumerated as Harold A. Walker. It’s impossible to know the how or why, but this is our Leslie and his wife and children. He’s now employed as an engineer in building construction. Leslie died 20 Dec 1965 and was buried with his parents in Greenmount Cemetery. His wife Madeline died in Sep 1983. Her burial location is not known. Leslie and Madeline had two known children:
1. Madeline Marion Walker – born 21 Jan 1922 in Cook County, Illinois, baptized 12 Dec 1934 in the Simpson United Methodist Church, Philadelphia. died 24 Oct 2009
2. Leslie Jeanne Walker – born 15 Dec 1924 in Cook County, Illinois, baptized 12 Dec 1934 in the Simpson United Methodist Church, died 5 Jun 2010.
