"Mrs. Zula Blanks Gillam was born on Cherry Creek in Kerr County on February 22,1890. She was one of the twelve children born to Mr. and Mrs. Isaiah Blanks who preceded her in death. She was married to Rev. Joe Gillam who also preceded her in death.
To this union there were no children born. She professed her hope in Christ at an early age and remained a faithful Christian woman until she was stricken.
She departed this life April 16,1974 at 5:45 PM.
She leaves to mourn her passing one brother Louis Blanks, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.""
