Melvin Vernon Candelaria 55 of Bloomfield , NM passed away Sunday Feb 13, 2000 at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque. He was born May 26, 1944 in Del Norte Colorado to Orlando and Viola Candelaria.
He preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Survivors include his three children, Reggie and Anthony and wife Melisa and Della Rose Candelaria, all of Bloomfield: brother Orlando Candelaria of Farmington, sisters; Margaret Gallegos, Loretta Ulibarri and Dorothy Candelaria all of Bloomfield. Five grandchildren and his companion Ann Wilson of Bloomdfield, Numerous nieces and nephews and one great-great niece.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 PM today Wednesday Feb 16 2000 at Brewer and Lee Larkin Funeral Home. Rosary will be said at 7 PM this evening at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomfield Church in Bloomield NM with Father Dan Daley as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cathlic Cemetery in Bloomfield NM.
Pallbearers will be Vermon Ulibarri, Joe Ulibarri, Manuel Gonzales, Lee Gallegos, Anthony Candelaria and Reggie Candelaria.
Funeral Arrangements are with Brewer , Lee and Larking Funeral Home 103 E. Ute St. in Farmington.
