Maxine M. Holmes, 79, of Richmond, Ind., died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, in Richmond.
Born Dec. 30, 1924, in Preble County, she was the daughter of Ottowell H. and Clara I. (Rumley) Silvers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Ralph Holmes, in 1990.
Survivors include a son, Howard D. Holmes of Richmond, Ind.; brothers, Roy E. Silvers of Oscoda, Mich., and Gordon Silvers of Eaton; sisters, Irene Shinn of Auburn Calif., and Thelma J. Rautsaw of Eaton.
Funeral services were Tuesday, May 25, at Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, Eaton, with the Rev. Ken Harris officiating. Burial was in Elkhorn Cemetery, Richmond, Ind.
