Elizabeth Hale (Haile) Jackson is found in the the book, "Eagleville," by Bobbie Sue Shelton. According to this source, Elizabeth Hale was the daughter of Meade (Mead) and Mary Hale (Haile). This determination of her mother is also found in an earlier document, "The History of Versailles, Tenth District and its People." But many other sources, including a family bible, list her mother as Elizabeth Jackson, Meade Hale's first wife.

Elizabeth Hale married Francis Jackson Jr., probably in Rutherford Co., Tn. Elizabeth and Francis Jackson Jr. are the parents of 13 known children:
