JUNCTION CITY - A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at First Christian Church in Junction City for Peter Laird Bodtker of Junction City, who died Nov. 9 of age-related causes. He was 79. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Danish Cemetery in Eugene.

He was born April 10, 1929 in Redmond to Andy and Margaret Daugherty Bodtker.

He married Yola Olsen on Sept. 21, 1957, in Stevenson, Wash.

Bodtker graduated from Junction City High School. He served in the Army in Germany from 1954 to 1956. He worked in dairy farming and was employed by Lane Plywood for 30 years.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kim Bodtker of Bellevue, Wash., and LoReis Evenson of Junction City; three sons, Lenden and Troy, both of Junction City and Thad of Las Vegas; a brother, David of Portland; and six grandchildren.
