Mrs. Mary Laisure Dies This Morning - Funeral Services Saturday Afternoon
Mrs. Mary Laisure, 72, died at 12:30 o'clock this morning at her home, 734 Spencer street, following an illness of three weeks. She was born in Auglaise county, O., March 27, 1881, a daughter of Jeremiah and Mary Haggard-Draper, and was married to Pearl Laisure May 19, 1903.
The family lived near Monroeville for many years, moving to Decatur in 1943. Mrs. Laisure was a member of the Trinity Evangelical United Brethren church.
Surviving in addition to the husband is a sister, Mrs. Lucy Small of Milwaukee, Wis. Eight sisters and seven brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Zwick funeral home, the Rev. John E. Chambers officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
