Harry Parr, 83, of Argenta, died Thursday in Decatur and Macon County Hospital. Mr. Parr, a retired carpenter, was born Sept. 12, 1882, in Ohio, a son of John and Ellen Jackson Parr.
He lived most of his life in Argenta and married Ruth Manley there in 1914.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Duane M. and Gordon K., both of Decatur; a daughter, Mrs. Ehtelda Coonradt, Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. Faye Walker and Mrs. Walter (Mary) Lukenbill, both of Argenta; a brother, Joe, of Decatur; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services in the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral home in Argenta . Burial in Friends Creek Cemetery.
