Besides his wife he leaves four daughters, Mrs. D. A. Armstrong, Mrs. E. R. Hitt and Mrs. Gladys Bolen, all of Decatur, and Mrs. C. D. Majors of Champaign; one son, Wesley of St. Louis; five sisters, Mrs. Ernest White, Mrs. Homer Walker, Mrs. Walter Lukenbill and Mrs. P. H. Hilbrant, all of Argenta, and Mrs. E. R. Evey of Clinton; two brothers, Harry and Joe of Decatur; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services in the Dawson & Wikoff funeral home chapel. Burial in Friends Creek cemetery near Argenta.
