He was a retired logger.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Plunkett of Colfax; two sons, Huey Plunkett and Dewey Williams, both of Colfax; one brother, O. M. Plunkett of Colfax; two sisters, Ruby Burch and Bernis Plunkett Gongre, both of Montgomery; and eight grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Rush, Pineville, with Rev. Matt Honeycutt officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery at Bentley.
