Mary Bell Fulton was born near Clark Center, Clark county, Illinois, August 4, 1862, and passed away at the home of her daughter in Goff, October 21, 1931. She was the daughter of Lewis and Rosetta Fulton. With her parents she came to Kansas in 1870 and settled near Onaga and grew to womanhood in that locality.
She was united in marriage to Joseph N. Clark, October 4, 1888, and to this union four children were born: Rex, who died in infancy; Ray of Delia; Mae Harris of Goff and Goldie Harris of Havensville.
Mrs Clark professed her faith in Christ in early womanhood and in October 1888 joined the Christian church, remaining faithful to the end. She was a loving companion, a devoted mother, a royal neighbor.
She leaves to mourn her loss, one brother, one half brother, three children, three step-children, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a host of neighbors and friends. Her husband died nine years ago last December.
The funeral service was conducted in the Havensville Christian Church, October 23, by Rev. Mayfield of Soldier, a long time friend. He was assisted by Rev. Yonnelly of Corning. Burial was at Havensville.
