Obituary:
Funeral services for Charles E. Waters, of 128 E. Third St., Lewistown, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, 2:30 o'clock, in Fretz Funeral Home, Lewistown. His pastor, Rev. Dr. J. McKenree Riley will officiate and burial will be made in the Methodist Cemetery at Lewistown. Mr. Waters died Saturday forenoon, Sept. 23, 1944, at Lewistown Hospital, 10:20 o'clock. Admitted June 6, he was a medical patient. Born July 20, 1862, at Burnt Cabins, he was a son of the late James L. and Margaret Cisney Waters. He was twice married. Both his wives, Carrie Lawn and Laura Dalby, preceded him in death. A son by the first marriage died in infancy. Three brothers and two sisters are living: Isaac G. Waters, Monte Vista, Col.; Mrs. Catherine Appleby, Burnt Cabins; James W. and Porter J. Waters, also of Burnt Cabins; Mrs. Banks (Lou A.) Hambright, Burnham. Friends may call at the Fretz Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today, until services there.
