Mrs. O. F. Davis
Dies at Her Home

Mrs. O. F. Davis, 76, veteran member of the Trinity Methodist Church, died Tuesday in the home at 3317 McKinney where she had lived forty-six years.

She had lived in Dallas for fifty-five years. Her family came to Texas by wagon from Harrisonville, Mo., through the Indian Territory, settling first near Greenville. She joined the Trinity Methodist Church when it was located on the corner of Olive and Trinidad, soon after she arrived in Dallas.

Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the George A. Brewer Funeral Chapel, 3603 Ross. She will be buried in Restland memorial Park.

Her husband, the late Oscar F. Davis, was in the implement business in Dallas for many years.

Surviving are three daughters, Miss Maurea Davis, Miss Ruby Davis and Mrs. Rudy Kachold, all of Dallas; two sons, Harry R. Davis, Dallas; O. I. Davis, San Leandro, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. H. M. Markham, Sudan, Lamb County; Mrs. Park Hutchison, Porterville, Calif.; Mrs. Frank Moore and Mrs. Dud Ellis, Floyd, Hunt County.

Four brothers also surviving are Emmett F. Blakemore, Dallas; W. S. Blakemore, Greenville; J. Ernest Blakemore, Porterville, and J. Shelby Blakemore, Merit, Hunt County.
