Barnwell - Services for Mallie Eletha Hines, 90, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, with the Rev. Billy Mew officiating. Burial will be in Mount Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery of Windsor. Visitation will be 6-8 tonight at the funeral home. Mrs. Mitchum died Thursday at the Aiken Regional Medical Center of Aiken.
Born in Williamsburg Co., she was a daughter of the late William Wallace and Lillie Feagan Hines. She was married to the late John William Mitchum. (Married: July 25, 1927)
Mrs. Mitchum was a homemaker and a member of Ridgeville Baptist Church of Ridgeville. Surviving are her daughters, Margaret Rumph, Betty Rourke, both of Barnwell, Judy Myers of Summerville; son, Richard Mitchum of Windsor; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Thelma Smith.
