Miss Minnie Catherine Duden, 78, of Crookston and formerly of the Euclid area passed away Sunday evening, April 30 at St. Vincent's Villa in Crookston.

Miss Duden was born on March 14, 1900 at Euclid to John Henry Duden and Elizabeth Mickelson Duden.

She received her education in the Euclid schools. Miss Duden remained on the family farm at Euclid until the deaths of her father in 1942 and her mother in 1951. At that time she and her sister, Emma, who had also been on the farm, moved into Crookston and lived together in the Opera Block Apartments. Miss Duden was a member of our Savior's Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid. She was a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Euclid.

Miss Duden leaves two brothers, Claus of Euclid, George of Red Lake Falls, two sisters, Miss Emma Duden of St. Francis Residence, Crookston, and Mrs. William (Louise) Yuergens of Crookston. Several nieces, and nephews also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Henry and William, and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Vieths.
