Mary Edna (Long) Alvey, 93, of 1757 W Hill St, died there Tue. (12/25/1990). She was native of New Haven and a retired boiler for Benjamin Distillery where she had worked 25 years. Survivors: two daughters Marietta Lucas and Mary Lou Stanfield: 24 grandchildren including Gale Fey with whom she lived: 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral 11am Friday St. George Catholic Church 1410 Dixie Highway. Burial St. Michael Cemetery, Visitation; Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway after 11am Thursday.
