Olive Moomaw, 70, Monse, died Monday, at her home.

She was born Dec. 22, 1905, at Moscow, Idaho, and in 1907 moved with her family to Southwick, Idaho, where she attended school. In 1917 they moved to the south half of the Colville Indian Reservation.

In 1921, she married Truman Moomaw in Okanogan. They had since lived on the reservation. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son, Eugene Moomaw, Monse, a daughter, Bessie Cushen, Redding, Calif.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bill Baker, Omak, Tom Baker, Monse, and Bud Baker, Inchiliem; four sisters, Irene Cunninham, Okanogan, Pearl Freel, Mary Jane Hopkins and Mergline Jackson, all of Omak.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 10 am from the Barnes Chapel in Brewster with the Brewster Grange officiating. Concluding services and interment were in the Monse Cemetery. Arrangements by Barnes Chapel, Brewster.
