Victory P. Baker, 81, of Inchelium, died Sunday, March 26, 2000 in the VA Hospital in Spokane.
He was born November 11, 1918, the son of Perry and Nellie (Douglas) Baker at Moscow, Idaho.
Victory served in the United States Army during World War II.
For many years he was employed in the logging industry as a log cutter.
He is survived by a son Calvin Bedard of Omak; a daughter, JoAnn Lesley of Keller; a brother, Tom Baker of Monse; sisters, Irene Cunningham, Mary Jane Hopkins and Mergelene Jackson, all of Omak; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred in 1976, a son and daughter, two brothers and three sisters.
Services were conducted Wednesday, March 29, 2000, at 1 pm from Barnes Chapel, Brewster, with Donn Plew officiating. Interment followed at the Brewster Cemetery.
