Benjamin A. Allen, the son of Ethel Adelle Allison and Herman C. Allen, was the grandson of Benjamin Alexander Allison and Adelle (Delle) Ferguson Allison. Benjamin died of diptheria on 18 Aug 1919 at the age of 11 years.

"The many friends of the B.A. Allison family were deeply grieved last evening to learn of the death at Lawrence of Benjamin Allison Allen. The little fellow had been sick but a few days, diptheria claiming him a victim. The sympathies of the entire community are with the afflicted family.
The remains are expected to arrive this evening, and interment will be in McPherson Cemetery. The funeral arrangements have not been made."
