71 of Lindsay died Monday in a Visalia Hospital.
A native of Tennessee, she moved to Arvin in 1934 and then moved to Lindsay in 1937 and was employed as a clerk by Tienken Drug Store for about 23 years.
She was a member of of the Hermosa Street Church of Christ.
Surviving are three sons, Melvin of Visalia and James of Exeter, Harvey of Reedley, three sisters, Irene Beem of Apple Valley, Nellie Carruth of San Antonio, Texas, and Jennie Peoples of Raymondville Texas, Her father, Flemin Harper of Edouch, Texas and six grand-children and one great grandson, preceding her in death was her mother Ruth Harper in 1980 and her Husband Louis Pemelton in 1948 Graveside service will be at 10.am Wednesday in olive Cemetery, Lindsay, CA under the direction of Webb Sanders Funeral Home, officiating Mr Bob Barker
