Minnie and Plummer had four children: Nora Lee Hawkins (1899-1980, Mrs. James Silvey Lee Ray), Luther Oscar Hawkins (1902-1970, m. Lillie May Clara Burgess), Vessie Jane Hawkins (1906-1955, Mrs. R. R. Ritchie) and Mary Boyd Hawkins (1916-2001, Mrs. Lee R. Ross).
