Funeral services for Jesse F. James of 1720 Northwest Tenth, Oklahoma City, were held Nov. 1, in Bahner Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jim House and Rev. Tom Ritzinger of Sulphur officiated. Interment was in Green Hill cemetery, under the direction of Bahner Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jim House and Rev. Tom Ritzinger of Sulphur officiated. Interment was in Green Hill cemetery, under the direction of Bahner Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Ross Walters, Roy Lynn Chambless, Floyd Chambless, Bill Porter, Bruce Stafford, and Marvin Herndon.

James died Oct. 31, in Deaconess hospital, Oklahoma City. He was a retired checker for Lee Motor Freight. He was born Aug. 1, 1892, in Garvin county and lived in Davis before moving to Oklahoma City in 1952.

Survivors are his wife, Della, of the home; nine children, Mrs. Beatrice Allman of Sulphur, Mrs. Kathryn Foster, Mrs. Betty Rose, Jesse James, Jr., and Floyd James, all of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Geneva Herndon of Ardmore, Glen James of Oakland, Calif., Bob James of Teague, Tex., and Bill James of Choctaw; 20 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
