Found Dead in His
Home at Elk City
An Elk City man, formerly of Davis, was found dead in his home Tuesday. Charles A. James, 60, who had lived in Elk City the past 15 years, apparently died of a heart attack. He lived alone.
Services will be held in the First Baptist church of Davis Thursday, Sept. 15 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim House officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill cemetery with Bahner Funeral home in charge of local arrangements.
Survivors include two sisters, Miss Laura James of Davis, and Mrs. Malinda Brady of Houston, Tex., and one brother, J. F., of Oklahoma City.
