Jens Jacob Mork, 66, 916 Iowa Street, died suddenly Tuesday at 6 p.m. Mr. Mork had gone to the grocery store at Fourth and Olive streets and while making his purchases was stricken with heart disease.
Jens Jacob Mork was born in Denmark, Oct 2, 1868 and came direct from there to Cedar Falls at the age of 18. He had made his home here since.
For a number of years he was employed in the harness making business, later working for the Viking Pump company. He was a veteran of the Spanish American War.
Surviving are his widow and two daughters by his first wife, Nora and Dinah, both of Waterloo; and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Rudebeck, Cedar Falls; Mrs. S Rudebeck, St Paul, Minnesota; Mrs. M P Chapman, Cedar City, and Mrs. Lizzie Buskin, Chicago.
