At Strang, Neb., June 21, at 4 p.m., Joseph Keim, aged 65 years, 9 months and 19 days.

Deceased was born in Somerset County, Pa., and settled at his late home near Bruning, in 1880.

He was a man of integrity, genuine principle, noted for his extreme piety and highly respected by all. His religion was his triumph in death and he died happy in the belief which had sustained him through life.

The body was buried on the farm which was the late home of the deceased.

The bereaved friends have the sympathy of all.

The deceased was afflicted with paralysis and finally choked to death.

The body was prepared and embalmed by Mr. J. E. Freeman, undertaker, of this city. Mr. Freeman performed the work in a very satisfactory manner to the relatives of the deceased, and it was all the more difficult on account of the extreme state of decomposition which had set in.

He was married to Elizabeth Olinger on January 3, 1847 in Meyersdale, Summit Twp., Somerset Co. Pennsylvania.

Married 2nd wife Mary Lenhart on January 17, 1887.
