LOGANSPORT -- Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie D. Hughes, 62, long time resident of Logansport, mother of four Shreveporters, and a resident of Bossier City, who died in a Shreveport hospital Saturday after a long illness, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Church, with the Rev. Jimmy Borsette, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Bob Shirley. Interment was in Bethel Cemetery under direction of the Caraway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hughes was a member of the Maple Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Claybrook, Shreveport, Mrs. George Brown, Bossier City, Miss Nell Hughes, Logansport; seven sons, Lloyd and Hershel, both of Logansport, Clyde, A. D. and Raymond, all of Shreveport, Harold, Houston, Tex., and Huey of Ft. Hood, Tex.; four brothers, Charlie Blake (190439995), Houston, Jack of Shreveport, Foster (40326676), Winnfield and Willie (40326894) of Logansport.
