LOGANSPORT, LA - Services for Mr. Clyde Hughes, 72, of Logansport, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday October 30 at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel in Shreveport. The Rev. Charles Hall will officiate. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport.

Mr. Hughes died Wednesday October 28, 1987, at his residence after a sudden illness. He was a former resident of Shreveport, where he was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. He was former employee of Pennzoil. Mr. Hughes was a member of the Lions Club and the First Baptist Church of Logansport.

He is survived by a son, Clyde R. Hughes of Baytown, Texas; two sisters, Hazel Bryant of Logansport and Margaret Jarvis of Shreveport; two brothers, Rev. Loyd Hughes of Haughton, La. and Arthur Harold Hughes of Channelview, Texas; and a granddaughter, Heather Hughes.

Family suggests that memorials be made to the Baptist Children's Home in Monroe or the Shriner's Hospital in Shreveport.
