Funeral services for Joyce Ann Wilkey Lemley, 75, life-long resident of Wagoner will be at 11:00, Saturday, at the First Christian Church in Wagoner with the Reverend Loy Hoskins officiating. Joyce was born Jan. 26, 1937 in Wagoner to her parents, Grover and Velma (Couthran) Sullivan. After graduating Wagoner High School in 1955, she was married to Kenneth Wilkey, a union lasting until his death in 1992. Joyce was a homemaker and caregiver to her family and her love was visible in the wonderful sewing and cooking she generously gave. She worked as a bail bondsman for a time and later in life was united in marriage to Philip Lemley, caring for him until his passing in 2008. She became an active member of the Blue Star Mothers, serving as President. Joyce also volunteered as a Caregiver for First Choice Hospice and always hosted the meetings of the '3:00 Coffee Club'. Joyce's home was always open to family and friends who were welcomed with joy and love. She passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 13 at the Valir Hospital in Oklahoma City. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Wilkey; her husband, Phil Lemley; her sisters, Viva Dean Baker, Luella Fisher and Dorothy McDaniel. She is survived by her sons, Ken Wilkey and his wife, Tena and Steve Wilkey and his wife, Elizabeth all of Oklahoma City; her two brothers, Vernon Sullivan of Wagoner and Franklin Sullivan and Karen of Sapulpa; her sister, Mary Day of Wagoner; grandchildren, Josh, Bryan, Matthew, Zachary, Michael, Christina and Adam; great-grandchildren, Zane, Blade, Colton, Steven, Braden, Ty, Hudson and Jackson; a great-grandson, soon to be born, Connor; step-children, Missy Greer and husband, Shane and Eric Lemley; step-grandchildren, Jayme, Katie, Alyssa, Jacob, Steven and Hayden; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. Joyce's grandsons will serve as her pallbearers. Funeral arrangements and interment in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner are directed by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
