Edward Livingston Waldrop, 62, died at his home near Braggadocio last Wednesday, December 14 and funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church there Friday afternoon, with the Rev. Jess Adams officiating. Burial was in Little Prairie Cemetery with Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home of Hayti in charge.
A life-long resident of Pemiscot county, Mr. Waldrop was born on February 27, 1898.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Edith Waldrop; two sons, Muriel, of Walker, La. and Marvin Waldrop of this city; five daughters, Mrs. Nellie Gregory, Mrs. Mary Pickens, Mrs. Betty Walton ad Mrs. Jewel Wilson, all of Braggadocio and Mrs. Roberta Greenway of Caruthersville.
Also four sisters, Mrs. Fred Terrell, Mrs. Edward Bruton and Mrs. Wisa Wilcox of Braggadocio and Mrs. Shelby Adams of Hayti survive, along with thirteen grandchildren.
