Also surviving are three daughters, Peg, Huwer, Columbus, Mary (Bart) Doll, Coldwater, and Karen (Charles) Grube, Fort Recovery; two sisters, Marian Langenkamp, Orlando, FL, and Eileen Barga, Versailles; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Huwer, North Star; and three grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Victor; and two brothers-in-law, Ivo Langenkamp and Richard Barga.
He attended St. Francis Church in Cranberry Prairie. He was a member of St. Henry American Legion and a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He was also a member of the Mercer County Cattlemen's Assoc.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at the church, with Fr. Tom Hemm officiating.
