Funeral services will be held in St. Francis Catholic Church in Cranberry, Saturday at 10 a.m. for Mrs. Regina Huwer, 72, of Rt. 1, St. Henry, who died Wednesday, March 3, 1971 at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Coldwater. Mrs. Huwer had been ill for the past six months and a patient in the hospital for two weeks. She was born in St. Sebastian on September 26, 1898, the daughter of the late Charles and Caroline Will Schwieterman. On April 14, 1920, she married John J. Huwer in St. Sebastian and he survives with four children. Mrs. Huwer was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and the Christian Mother Sodality of the church. Surviving members of her family include two daughters, Mrs. Ivo (Marian) Langenkamp of North Star and Mrs. Richard (Eileen) Barga of R.R. Versailles; two sons, Victor Huwer of Rt. 1, New Weston and Charles Huwer of Rt. 1 St. Henry; two brothers Julius Schwieterman of Florida and Ray Schwieterman of Rt. 1, St. Henry and Mrs. Alma Knapke of Brookville; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. One daughter, one grandson, two brothers and one sister died before her. The Rev. James Wolfe will officiate at the funeral services. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. The family wil l receive friends in Hogenkamp's Funeral Home in St. Henry after 7 p.m. on Thursday and from 2 until 9 p.m. on Friday.
