He was born to John and Regina (Schwieterman) Huwer. He married Marilyn Sanders on April 18, 1969 in Ft. Loramie, Ohio. She survives.
He is also survived by sons, William (Tammy), Versailles, and Samuel Huwer, Troy; grandchildren Brandon Archey & Tanner Huwer; sisters, Marion (Ivo) Langenkamp Greenville, Eileen Barga, Versailles; brother, Charles (Ann) Huwer Cranberry Prairie.
He was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Richard Barga.
He was a member of St. Louis Church, North Star. He was also a member of St. Henry American Legion and was a life member of the Celina V.F.W. Military Honors will be provided at the Cemetery. He served in the Army during World War II.
Mass was at St. Louis Church, Fr. David Zink Celebrant.
