Mrs. Hassie B. West, wife of Oscar West, died Sunday about 6 p.m. at the home of her mother, Mrs. T.C. Gipson, in this city, of throat trouble, from which she had suffered for many weeks before her death.
Mrs. West was a very kind, sweet young woman, only 34 years of age, loved by a host of friends for her patient kindness and goodness.
She leaves a husband and six small chldren to remember her as a dear wife and mother, and is survived also by two sisters, Mrs. Charlie Morgan and Mrs. R.M. Tidwell of this city.
Funeral services were at Marvin Chapel, conducted by the Rev. D.K. Foster, and interment was at Little Prairie cemetery yesterday afternoon.
