Mrs Leola Darty, 55, of Osceola, died Tuesday Jul 25, 1995 in the Baptist Hospital Central in Memphis, Tn. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Etowah.
Survivors include her husband, Alton Darty, of Osceola, five daughters: Cathy Moore of Gosnell, Barbara Yancey, Alvalee Long and Phyllis Brown, all of Osceola, and Dona Jones of Manila, four sisters: Geraldine Busby, and Juanita Acton, both of FL, Mary Jane LeFlore of Southaven, MS, and Martha Gilbreath of Hernando, MS, four brothers: Earnest Banton of Caraway, James Banton and David Banton, both of Nesbit, MS and Buddy Banton of Charleston, MS and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning at 10:00 AM in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Rev Huey Meherg officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden Point Cemetery, under the direction of the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Garden Point Cemetery, under the direction of the funeral home. Visitation will be from 6-9 PM today.
