Lurlie Jewel Todd, daughter of the late Luther and Ida Holcomb Toombs, was born February 16, 1918, in Cardwell, Missouri and
passed away September 3, 2009 at the Heritage Gardens of Senath at the age of 91 years.

She married Sherrill Willard Todd October 1, 1934 in Cardwell, Mo., and was a life long resident of Cardwell. She retired from factory and hospital work and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cardwell.

Survivors include a son, Bobbie Todd and wife, Carol, of Blytheville, Ark.; one daughter, Nancy Green and husband, Ronald, of Watervliet, Mich.; two brothers, Leslie Holcomb of Rector, Ark., and Vernon Holcomb of Paragould, Ark.; and seven grandchildren, Robert, Michael, and Richard Todd, David Cisco, Teresa Robbins, Jerris Farrell, and Sandra Ross; and eight great-grandchildren, Nicola Cisco, Justin and Patrick Farrell, Ashley and Will Robbins, John Ross, Darby and Kari Todd; and several neices and nephews, as well as a host of relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, ahe was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Sherrill, one son, Jummy Dale Todd; one brother, Harold Holcomb; and two siaters, Alma Jackson and Bonnie Miller.

Graveside services were at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the Cardwell Cemetery in Cardwell, Mo., with Rev. A.E. Stanley officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Senath was in charge of arrangements.
