Jane Evelyn Fink, 84

New Manchester - Jane Evelyn Fink, 84, of New Manchester, W.Va., passed away Monday, March 29, 2004, at the Palliative Care Unit of Valley Hospice in Steubenville, Ohio. She was born June 29, 1919, in Rockyside, New Cumberland, W.Va., a daughter of the late Amy Claude and Alice S. (Taggart) Boyles. She is also preceded in death by her husband Clarence Burr Fink; three brothers, Charles, James and Claude Boyles; five sisters, Cloris Conn, Alice Hardwick, Wanita Spencer, Marjorie DeBee and Mary Boyles; one grandson, James LeRoy Allison III; and one great - grandson, Carl Edgell. She was a retired Deputy School Crossing Guard in New Manchester, W.Va., serving from 1962 to 1984 and was a member of the Chester Free Methodist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Eleanor Monroe of Chester, W.Va.; two sons, Clarence Burr Fink Jr., of New Manchester, W.Va.; three brothers, John Boyles of Weirton, W.Va., Dorham "Mickey" Boyles of Newell, W.Va., and Lonnie Boyles of Newell, W.Va.; and nine grandchildren, 18 great - grandchildren and 13 great - great - grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Turley Funeral Home, 109 N. Chester St., New Cumberland, W.Va. Services will be there Thursday (4-1-04) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Charles Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the New Cumberland Cemetery.
