MRS. A. JONES DIED AT EDINBURG
Mrs. Alice (Grandma) Jones, 86, of Edinburg, died at 2:10 o'clock Friday afternoon at her home, following a long illness.
Mrs. Jones was born in Union, Kentucky, November 15, 1858, the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Adams. She was twice married. Her first husband was Cornelius Rench. They were the parents of five children: Elmer Rench, Canton; Mrs. Emma Ralph, Edinburg; Mrs. Ida Wolfe, Springfield; Dwight Rench, Devils Elbow, Mo.; and Mrs. Pearl Jones of Edinburg.
She later married Charles T. Jones. To this union were born three children: Mrs. Ed Marvel, Pana; Mrs. Frank Check, Springfield and Mrs. Fred Snyder of Edinburg. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Edinburg Baptist church. The body was taken to the Heath Memorial Home at Edinburg where funeral services will be held at 2 0'clock Sunday afternoon. Burial will be in the Bethel cemetery.
