December 20, 1849 in Boone county he was married to Mary Ann Mason another native of Boone couSon of Robert G. Adams and Betsey Coney Adams, he grew to manhood in Boone county, Kentucky. On nty. 

To their union was born six children that I know of, John (Elizabeth Jane) Strickland, William Seth (Lieuzena Powell) Adams, Lydia Ann, Cornelius (Zurilda Alice) Rench, Owen Spencer (Emma Beck) Adams, Harriett Adelia and Minnie Hester Adams.

ARTER ADAMS DEAD


Arter Adams, one of the best known farmers in Christian county, died Saturday at his home near Sharpsburg from the infirmities of old age. he was about 80 years of age. he is survived by his wife and several children.

The funeral was held at the Baptist church in Sharpsburg, remains interred at the Sharpsburg cemetery.
