STRICKEN DEAD
Frank Parnell, a prominent farmer who lived near Hopewell, died suddenly last Saturday from a ruptured blood vessel. The day before he had been fishing and he said that in coughing he broke a blood vessel. It did not seem to bother him, however, and he plowed all morning. When he came in at noon he was taken with a convulsion and a few minutes after the doctor arrived from Norfork he had expired. He was buried in Hopewell Cemetery Sunday. He leaves a wife and several children.
