Mrs. Elsie Jones, a resident of Picher for the last 32 years, died at her home, 514 South Ella street, at 7:30 p.m. Monday following an illness of about two weeks. She was 75 years old.
She is survived by five sons, Ed, Isaac, and Joe Parnell, all of Fresno, Calif., Edgar Parnell of North Fork, Ark., and Troy Jones of Tuckerman, Ark.; three daughters, Mrs. Maude Janow of Cardin, Mrs. Geanette Harrington and Mrs. Rena Davis, both of Picher; a half-sister, Mrs. Effie Webb of Bald Knob, Ark.; two stepsons, Johnny Parnell of Radford, Ark., and Charley Parnell of Compton, Calif., 40 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Goodson-Durnil Funeral home.
