MRS. F. KLEIN PASSES AWAY
Streator Native Succumbs In Hospital; funeral Services Monday.
Mrs. Frank (Julia) Klein died at 1:45 a. m. this morning in St. Mary's hospital, where she had been a patient for the past three months.
A Solemn Requiem Mass will be conducted Monday at 9 a. m. in St. Stephen's church, burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Solon funeral home after 2 o'clock Sunday, with the rosary being recited at 8 p. m. that evening. Born in Streator, Jan. 5, 1897, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Seroka. She was married to Frank Klein, May 14, 1918*, and he preceded her in death in 1958.
Survivors include two sons, Frank G, and Edwin, both of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Helen) Prendergast, Mrs. William (Marion) Batkiewicz, both of Streator ; and Mrs. Robert (Marcella) Petty of Batavia; 13 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Lesak, Mrs. Milton (Betty) Klein and Mrs. Everill (Helen) Johnson, all of Streator; and two brothers, Joseph Seroka of this city, and John Seroka of Nanticoke, Pa.
A resident of Streator all of her life, she was a member of the Western catholic Union and St. Mar's club of St. Stephen's

Klein Rites Held Monday
Rites for Mrs. Frank (Julia) Klein, 208 E. Grant* St., were held Monday morning , form the Solon funeral home with Rev. Peter Bolerasky conducting the brief service. A solemn requiem mass was said at 9 a. m. in St. Stephen's church with Rev. George Dzuryo as celebrant, Rev. Bolerasky, deacon, and Rev. George Hiland, sub-deacon. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were James Seroka, Robert Guyan, Gene Lesak, George Klein, Alvin Blasco, and John Krocker.
Attending from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Petty of Batavia, Mrs. Elizabeth (Seroka) Meck and Mrs. Mary Lou (Seroka) Cintala, both of Nanicoke*, Pa.,and Mrs. Ann Burcar, Detroit, Mich.

They lived on Kent Street.
