Emma Benedicta Lesak, 76, formerly of 530 Frech St. in Streator, died June 15, 1980 at St. Mary's Hospital following a lengthy illness.

She was born March 20, 1904 in Streator, a daughter of Joseph and Anna (Bavolar) Seroka. She married John Andrew Lesak in 1926. He survives.

Also surviving is a son: Eugene Lesak of Redwood City, California; five daughters: Rita (William) Pshak of Mesa, Arizona; Theresa (John) Hogan of Odell; Dolores (James) Hefler, Marcella (Richard) Handzo, and Elsie (F. J.) Trainor of Streator, all of Streator; two sisters: Betty (Milton) Klein and Helen (Everill) Johnson, both of Streator; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter in infancy; two brothers: Joseph and John Seroka; and one sister: Julia Klein.

She lived in Streator most of her life and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.
