Alice L. Salvador, 84, of Haxtun, died March 31 at Haxtun Nursing Home.
She was born July 31, 1906, in Sterling to John and Elizabeth (Stopforth) Sperber. Mrs. Salvador attended Sterling schools.
On Feb. 20, 1924, she married H. Elgin Salvador in Sterling. They farmed in the Wages community southwest of Haxtun until retiring to Haxtun in 1978. Beginning in 1962 the Salvadors wintered in Arizona and bought a home there in 1972.
Salvador died Dec. 16, 1980, and Mrs. Salvador continued to live in
her Haxtun home until entering a nursing home in 1989.
She was a member of Wages Methodist Church and a past matron of Order of the Eastern Star, Frida Wilson Chapter.
Survivors include three sons, Harry and William of Yuma, and Frank of Holyoke; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grand children.
The Revs. Glen Kline and Norman Walker officiated for Saturday's funeral at Haxtun United Methodist Church. Burial was at Holyoke Memorial Park.
Thompson Mortuary of Haxtun was in charge of arrangements.
