Henry was the son of Richard and Polly Walling Pennington. Henry was born in
Houston Co. Daly Community, June 22, 1853. He married Mary Annalene (or Anna Lena) Beeson Jan 9, 1875.
She was born July 1851; d. 1937. Her father, Samuel
A. Beeson, brought his children from Lauerdale County, Mississippi when Mary was four years old. Some say her mother's name was Margaret Freeman Beeson and that she had died.
Samuel Beeson married again and went away to the Civil War where he died from an illness. Mary Beeson was living with the Taylors when she and Henry married. Henry and Mary had ten children. All their children lived to adulthood and married and had children of their own.
Henry died (no info)-1925. He is the only child of Richard and Polly buried with his parents in the Pennington family cemetery. Four of his sons are buried there as well, Daniel Boone, Hardin, Walter and Earl.
Mary Beeson Pennington is buried by her husband.
