Mr. Jones died Monday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Carol Short of Anniston; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Sharon Jones of Ohatchee and Ms. Karen Morton of Texas; two sons, Arnold W. Jones of Anniston and Jimmy R. Jones of Alexandria; three sisters, Mrs. Mertis Phillips, Mrs. Ertis Moore and Mrs. Diane Bailey, all of West Point, Ga.; five brothers, David Jones and Willard Jones, both of Roanoke, Frank Jones of West Point, Ga., John H. Jones of Pine Mountain, Ga., and James R. Jones of Thomaston, Ga.; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Felt Brown, Cid Brown, F.G. Seggrest, A.P. Griffin, Kenneth Brown and Johnny Winnie.
Mr. Jones was a native of Randolph County and had lived in Calhoun County most of his life. He was a member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II. He was a retired employee of Fuller Gasoline Co.
