Mr. Frank Ralph Jones of West Point, GA passed away Wednesday afternoon, 3 Feb 2016 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. (EST) Saturday, 6 Feb 2016 from Roper Heights Baptist Church (507 Poplar St., West Point, GA).

Interment will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange, GA. Rev Aaron McCullough and Jackie Taylor will officiate.

The family will greet friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. (EST) at McCarthy Funeral Home in West Point, GA.

Mr. Jones was born in Randolph County, AL, the son of the late William and Nannie Hill Jones. He worked as a truck driver for West Point Stevens/Transportation for 25 years. Mr. Jones was a 22-year survivor of a liver transplant and a 15-year survivor of a kidney transplant. He was a member of Roper Heights Baptist Church, serving as Chairman of the Board of Deacons. Mr. Jones was a hard worker and a Jack-of-all-trades.

Survivors include his wife, June Jones; his daughter and son-in-law, Ann (Donald) Sheppard; his son and daughter-in-law, Frankie (Angie) Jones; 8 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; his sister, Mertis Phillips; and his brother, John Jones.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynn Jones Tyler Turner and 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
